Established in 1915, the Calvert Court Apartments have been an architectural fixture of the Charles Village Neighborhood in Baltimore for a century. With thirty-two owner-occupied units featuring hardwood floors and working fireplaces, the historic building designed by Edward H. Glidden continues to house residents drawn to the timeless aesthetics of city life.
In 1947, the Calvert Court Company was incorporated as a cooperative residential building, holding the first meeting of its Board of Directors in the fall of the same year. For more than sixty years, the affairs of the company have been democratically managed by its shareholders, the residents of Calvert Court.
